Introduction
‘Lantern’ is my first published game, developed with ‘Fotros’ Game Studio using Unity 2018. It’s a 2D puzzle game available on Android and Windows, with separate builds in English and Farsi.
The story follows ‘Feri’, a young photo studio owner who travels to his late uncle’s village to claim an inheritance. He’s captured by someone seeking a magical family heirloom—the lantern—and must solve puzzles and riddles to escape and stop his adversary.
Main Features
Here are some of the main features of this game:
- the game has 23 levels with various riddles and puzzles to solve
- The main character features multiple animations presented as sprite sheets.
- We can get hints for the puzzles by watching a reward video ad.
- We can save our progress and select previously completed level to play the again.
- There are a few timed puzzles where the player needs to act quickly before the time runs out.
- The game features a mini inventory for storing and utilizing interactive items within levels to solve puzzles.
